Synopsis "Gorilla Soup!"
A hilarious story about a 10-year-old boy who receives for his 5th birthday a most unusal present from his great aunt. Imagine the boy's surprise and delight when he unwraps a present the size of a refrigerator! Inside the huge box is Floyd the gorilla! Floyd is friendly and cheerful, and he eats only Gorilla Soup! Fortunately Floyd comes with a recipe for Gorilla Soup, and the boy and Floyd waste no time in going to the local grocery store to purchase the necessary ingredients for the soup. Then, back at home with all the ingredients on hand, the boy mixes a batch of the gorilla soup in his bathtub, carefully stirring the concoction with a canoe paddle. The recipe calls for a dash of salt, but there's no mention of pepper. The boy reasons that everyone knows you have to have some pepper too, so he adds a dash of pepper, hoping it will improve the soup and make it more appealing to Floyd. But instead, the added pepper has disasterous results when Floyd downs his first batch of the tweaked soup.
