Synopsis "Guitarchitecture: A Creative Approach to Learning the Guitar"

Guitarchitecture is one of the most effective ways to learn the fretboard. It teaches basic music theory and note identification through simple pattern recognition. Each chapter introduces a new interval. At the end of each chapter are a series of etudes and duets that reinforce the pattern or interval described in the chapter. Appended to the book are exercises to help students learn rhythmic notation and picking. There are also appendices on legato techniques (hammer-ons and pull-offs). Additionally, video performances of all of the etudes, exercises, and duets can be found for free on YouTube: https: //www.youtube.com/channel/UCucZ0U---shJvZOAP88yG0wCheck out Next Generation Music Sessions website for more tips on practice, video lessons, instructional materials, and transcriptions
