Throughout history, many brave women have resisted and challenged men's preoccupation to control them. In ancient times, Boudicca, more recently, fearless suffragettes, many of whom chose death rather than living under the dictate of men. It's from these uncompromising women that Stella, junior solicitor at Thomas & Taylor, draws inspiration, and with unwavering commitment defends those ensnared in a legal system apathetic to concerns central to women's lives. Her dedication is, in part, the result of a harrowing experience as a teenager, witness to the brutal abduction of her best friend, finally getting her life back on track by landing a dream job at Thomas & Taylor. However, though all appears well, so deeply entrenched in her work to protect women, Stella is unaware that, once more, man's insidious nature has her in his sights.
