They were all very close and cared for each other's safety and wellbeing. They helped many people in their years of service. Still plagued by nightmares about what happened in Kenya and having felt responsible for his men. He was mad, took it personally and grieved the loss of two of his team. Everything in the first two books was true to the best of his recollection, and this book is the complete and final testament to his time in the Navy listed as K.I.A.
