Synopsis "Karistina and the Enchanted Kaleidoscope: A Tale of the Dragon Princess"

Step into a mythical world and follow our heroine as she comes of age, acquires the ability to transform into a beautiful, powerful, orchid dragon, with five forces of nature at her disposal. With her cousin, two school friends, a forest elf, house elf, and three Scottish gods she battles evil, including dangerous creatures, villains, and her own fears as she learns the truth behind the mysteries of her dragon bloodline. Scottish Gods, magical and mythical monsters challenge our heroine along her path to enlightenment and maturity. Sent on a quest to rescue family our heroine deciphers her dead mother's diary, and an Auld One's tome, "History of Dragons and Magical Mysteries" which cause her to run head first into danger, mystery, and malevolent gods. In this book, the heroine uses an enchanted kaleidoscope given to her by the legendary creatures known as sea gardeners. The tool allows her to see the aura's, and true natures, of people and creatures. Set in a mythological, medieval, Scotland of 1372. For those who like puzzles, written within the text are two ciphers. The first code the reader discovers is the same that our heroine must figure out, and more importantly, it is the gatekeeper to the second cipher needed to unlock Puck's lost pot of gold.
