Com una taca de tinta negra sobre un quadern en blanc. Així cau l’ombra de la Mare Corb sobre el bosc. Engorronit sota la manta de neu, el bosc dorm. La Mare Corb gralla des d’una branca. –Cinc minutets més –badalla el vent entre els arbres... El bosc és un escenari nevat a on trobem a la Mare Corb i a l’Avi Os, qui ha despertat de la seva hibernació, incapaç de recordar a on ha amagat un secret. No hi és entre les branques, ni al cau, ni tampoc al llac… i la seva inseguretat el fa sentir petit i indefens. El misteri envolta aquesta bella obra narrativa a on la natura és un personatge més; una natura humanitzada per la poètica del text de Pedro Mañas, amb metàfores que accentuen la tonalitat descriptiva de la història.
