Los poemas que conforman 'Los pecios del naufragio', dispersos y derrotados, esperaban su turno en los cajones de mi escritorio, abrazados y defendidos por tantas notas y textos sueltos que se habían rezagado, sepultados por el tumulto, y pasaron inadvertidos cuando estaba recogiendo la cosecha de versos para pergeñar mis anteriores poemarios. Tenía en mis oídos el eco de sus gritos, pero, confundida con las ansias y sosiegos de la escritura, del caos y del vértigo que produce el aluvión de deseos y nostalgias, creí que ya habían embarcado. Pero ahí estaban, recriminando mi olvido, clamando la historia que contaban y que ya había hecho cicatriz en mi alma y en mi cintura. (En palabras de la autora)
