Synopsis "lucky: the squirrel with a tale"
Lucky: The Squirrel with a Tale is a book about a small creature that finds her way into the life of a woman who has five cats, two dogs, and the many things that happen to them in a short amount of time. In Chapter 1: "Lucky's Beginning," the beginning is actually the end. Then, reflection on the early days of feeding her by eyedropper, finding food she would eat, housing her, a trip to the veterinarian, playing with her, and her rapid growth follow. Chapter 2: "Lucky's Reign of Terror" exposes Lucky to other animals in the house. She reacts in a comical way that lets them know not to mess with her. Lucky's travels, "Grandma", hotel staff, family, and the effect she has on lives of others are the basis of Chapters 3 and 4. Lucky gets trapped by a man who wishes to kill her. Her subsequent "extended stay" with her human due to this near-fatal release comprise Chapter 5. Chapter 6 is a second failed attempt to free the tenacious little squirrel. Chapter 7: "Lucky's Release" Her final release briefly touches on the lessons learned from this unlikely source -one of God's funny little creatures.
