Nissen is the one who brings him in and there is great concern if this is a good idea, But Addy leaves it up to Jeffers to make that decision.Thomas has talked with Dobe (Mugabe’s lawyer) about getting someone inside Lord Ingham’s companies who can act as an informant. They tried with Mary but she has reluctantly moved on. Now Thomas is asking Mophy, his assistant reporter, to make contact with someone else. To his surprise, Mophy is able to do it.Mary has begun a new career with respect to her other duties of writing cover up stories for Ingham’s political chums. She has discovered something about financial reports and possibly outright fraud. She wants to check her sources and get a personal look at what might be evidence for her investigation. But when she tries to get a ride to the depot with 50 paratroopers, they land at a remote location and are nearly wiped out.Jeffers too is nearly wiped out as he and the others try to move truckloads of potatoes covering up hundreds of weapons to a remote location. They have to get past the UN Police and Ambush Hill. Not to mention that Frost is able to find weapons of their own by breaking into an armory at Buzi.Sir meets with a Russian General who is in the arms business in a big way. Sir has managed to get in tight with the General and is making all the connections for transporting one of the largest shipments into Rhodesia ever done. Jeffers is beginning to wonder who Sir really is and who is he really working for?
