Synopsis "Martha The Passenger Pigeon"

Martha the Passenger Pigeon is a book about the last Passenger Pigeon. This is the story of these wonderful birds and how they changed history. When mankind discovered the pigeons could carry important messages on their backs during wartime, they secured their places in history.. These birds not only had an illustrious past, but it appears might have a future as well. There are those in the scientific community who wish to bring them back! In the name of science... great! The controversary surrounding this project ...is this.. Millions of dollars to *bring back* a species who had it's time and now should be released back into The Universe.....Come on! My goal here is to save those who still exist.. those who will soon be gone too! Specifically, The Monarch Butterfly, which is slated for extinction.. very soon. Like ...now!... Their existence is going to depend wholly on us, the people doing something. Something which is important, easy, affordable.. and a wonderful bonding experience with your family. The research I did for my book Bella The Butterfly, was significant. It opened my eyes to the catastrophe which is occuring right under our noses! It is so controversial, that it bears description..It is this. The government hired Monsanto to develop a poison to kill The Milkweed Plants. Why? So there would be more room for corn... for the production of more ethanol.. no Milkweed Plants! The Milkweed Plant is the only plant the Butterfly will lay her eggs on. When the babies hatch they eat the leaves and spin their cocoons.. When they turn into Butterflies, they leave with the poison in the Milkweed Plant's leaves to protect them from predators. I know.. it's a huge God Thing! And we're losing it. This Spring 2015 will be instrumental in saving these wondrous beauties of Nature. We must all plant Milkweed Seeds to save them all! If we don't, they may not be here for more than a few more years! Is it really this crucial a situation for the Butterflies? YES!! They used to inhabit 45 acres of land in their migratory landing in The Sierra Mountains. Now, it is less than 2!!! Yes, this is an emergency of the highest degree! I am partnering with Live Monarch.com to help spread the word. I am offering their Milkweed Seeds for free in my book.. Bella The Butterfly. You can purchase these books and others on my website...http: //saveourbutterflies.com/ Find out all the information about The Monarch Butterflies there! Please help save these beautiful beings! This is the real topic on the table, my friends.. At least for now..: ) These plants will come up every year and have the most amazing neon pink, orange and yellow flowers! So...spend your money on bringing back the pigeon.. ..or saving the Butterflies? You decide! Choose Wisely, Grasshopper!: )
