Synopsis "Microbiología del hábitat de Gopherus flavomarginatus en cautiverio (in Spanish)"

En la Reserva de la Biosfera de Mapimí habita la tortuga del Bolsón de Mapimí (Gopherus flavomarginatus). Uno de los aspectos más importantes del hábitat de estas tortugas, es la madriguera. Debido al uso de las madrigueras por parte de una gran cantidad de vertebrados e invertebrados, es posible encontrar una comunidad microbiológica muy diversa dentro de esta estructura y en sus alrededores, en comparación con otros sitios del hábitat. Hasta el momento no existe información sobre las especies microbiológicas que coexisten con G. flavomarginatus en su madriguera y alrededores. Por lo anterior, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo principal, determinar los microorganismos (bacterias y hongos) presentes en el hábitat de la madriguera de la tortuga del Bolsón de Mapimí (Gopherus flavomarginatus) en cautiverio.
