Permítame decirle, estimado lector, que pocas veces me he visto sujeta a tanta idiotez como con la última novela del detective-devenido-autor-del-momento J. Soldier McKennit.Debo reconocer que el hombre en sí mismo es mucho más interesante. Luego de conocerlo en una conferencia literaria en Seattle, me complace en informarles que Soldier es un hombre alto, moreno, buen mozo, simpático, educado, en síntesis, el sueño de cualquier mujer. Para mi sorpresa, luego que logró superar su indignación ante mis críticas literarias, también resultó ser bastante encantador. ¿Habrá sido mi figura lo que habrá provocado semejante cambio de humor? ¿O quizá fue mi ingenio e inteligencia? De cualquier forma, debido a la reciente aparición de un loco acosador, la trama de esta crítica ha tomado un inesperado y macabro giro. Y debo reconocer que Soldier ha debido desempeñar el rol de 'caballero al rescate' en más de una oportunidad...
