His flair for writing stems from his childhood days when he was part of the editorial team of the annual magazine of Mayo College, Ajmer. He continued editing and working on articles related to socio-economic issues in the capacity of the chief editor of the History Society Journal at Kirori Mal College and as editor of the HR Mesh - the monthly human resource management issue ofthe HR Forum at his MBA institute. Here Arpit took the initiative of founding a social science forum to debate on socio-political issues and for spreading community awareness in the youth by the name of Vichaar.
