Synopsis "OxGBB 2K15"
November started off with a rush of excitement . This is the month that every basketball player anxiously anticipates all summer; the beginning of the actual season. The Lady Thunder Wolves had conditioned all summer, which included intense pool workouts, dreadful sled training, tedious power hills, and heavy weight lifting, all to prepare for the 2015 season. The girls had made a promise to one another that this would be the year that they would win the State Championship. Not only did they have The Super Crystal Primm, but they now had the help of the ferocious Devin Gray. Immediately, the girls all clicked with one another. The energy off and on the court was tremendous. This would be the season! The season started off with a very big bang. The Oxbridge Varsity Lady Thunder Wolves basketball team destroyed their opponent Ft. Lauderdale High School (the Knights), by 51 points. Then the Thunder Wolves' basket ball team annihilated Miami Country Day High School (Spartans) by a whopping 65 points. Everything was falling in to place for the Lady Thunder Wolves. The team decided to celebrate their victories at their new teammate Devin Gray's house. The girls all piled into Devin's room with their plates piled high with food. Laughter and music filled the room. Every one assumed that nothing could destroy this season. However, no one could have predicted the up coming, horrendous events. As the girls gathered around the T.V. set in the living room, a sneeze erupted from one of the girls. Everyone's heads turned in the direction of Devin. Her eyes were as wide as saucers and her face was smeared in blood. "Oh my God Devin! What on Earth is on your face!" Lauren exclaimed with freight. "I do not know... It all came out after I sneezed, and it will not stop coming!" Just then, I remembered a story about the Ebola Virus I had seen on T.V. and the internet earlier that week. "Everyone... step away from Devin and go outside! Devin you need to go to the hospital right away! If you have Ebola, you are extremely contagious." Panic rushed in side the house. The rest of the Oxbridge Lady Thunder wolves Varsity Basket ball team ran outside. The girls realized that they would be safer if they removed all possible contaminated clothing. Every one rushed to take off their clothes as Devin called for an ambulance to come and take her to West Palm Beach Medical Hospital in Wellington. The entire neighborhood could clearly hear the blaring sirens as the ambulance sped down the street to Devin's house. As the red flashing lights flashed before our eyes, so did the rest of our 2015 Varsity season.
