They may account for more deaths than AIDS, TB or malaria combined in children over the age of five. For every child that dies of trauma, 4 are disabled permanently. What do we know about pediatric trauma related morbidity and mortality in the developing country's A&E unit like the one of Rwanda? Evidence based documentation would allow to show where and how to intervene in order to adress this problem.
