Combining philological, onomastic and prosopographic studies, contributors examine both specific, mostly German, collections such as the Gallische Prosopographie 260-527 and the Lexicon der altergermanischen namen , as well as more general themes. These include studies on the continuation of Latin names, Scandinavian names and an English paper on the study of Old English personal names. Mostly German text.
