Synopsis "Prepared To Die But Totally Unprepared To Live"

John Philip Liberto was born in Memphis, Tennessee. At the age of nineteen he joined the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War where he was exposed to the chemical Agent Orange. After his discharge from the Army he attended State Technical Institute at Memphis where he earned a degree in Architectural Engineering. He obtained his architectural licenses in Tennessee and Virginia and spent over forty years in architecture and construction site inspections before retiring in 2013. He and his wife of forty three years, Sandra, live in Fuquay, Varina, NC. They have two married children; Lauren (Jason) and Jeffrey (Jenna) and five grandkids; Carter, Stella (deceased), Jenson, Ellen and Jennings. John accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized at the age of eleven. Although John has written several short stories over the years this is his first published work.
