Weltweit werden pro Jahr 33.516.380 Tonnen (MT) Kohlendioxid (CO2) emittiert, der Hauptverursacher ist China (8.256.969 MT). M.) von Kohlendioxid (CO2), pro Jahr, ist der Hauptverursacher China (8, 256, 969 Tn. M.), gefolgt von den Vereinigten Staaten (5, 408, 869 Tn. M.), in Lateinamerika und der Karibik ist CO2-Emissionen 18, 177, 514 Tn. M.), mit dem Hauptemittenten Brasilien (419, 754 Tn. M.) und im Gegensatz dazu in Peru seine CO2-Emissionen sind 57.858 Tn. M. (World Bank, 2015). Ziel der Forschungsarbeit ist es, die Menge an Kohlenstoff in der lebenden Luftbiomasse, im Totholz, in der Streu und in der organischen Bodensubstanz im Permanent Monitoring Plot (PPM) zu bestimmen, wobei verschiedene mathematische Anwendungen und allometrische Gleichungen verwendet werden, die speziell für tropische Wälder entwickelt wurden und die es uns ermöglichen, den im Untersuchungsgebiet gespeicherten Kohlenstoff zu quantifizieren.
