Grief makes a fool of us all, but love makes us brave. In Sentimentality by Victoria Morales, the lives of three young friends take an interesting turn when they're faced with love, loss, and the pursuit of happiness. "Victoria "Isa" Morales grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she wrote her first published works Sentimentality and You Said I Was Strange, Is This What You Meant? She is an artist, pianist, and of course, an author. As a Hispanic American, she values her culture as a central part of her identity as well as her faith in Jesus Christ and her love for philosophy. She believes that in a fallen world, the time we spend on meaningless artifice takes away from humanity's nature-to love, and to be loved in return. She hopes you find that love, too-in God, in others, and within yourself."
