The loyalty of the local residents kept the brewery afloat through the dark days of Prohibition and through the 1960s as small, regional breweries were closing due to mass consolidation. Community members have always made sure that theirs would not follow suit. The Stevens Point Brewery will forever be tied to its locale through more than just its name.
