In this experiment, studies on behaviour pertaining to suckling devices, adaptation pattern to various suckling devices, growth rates in comparison to various suckling devices has thrown some light on some important managemental aspects in piglets management and by knowing these behaviour as well as adaptation pattern a farmer will be in a position to manage the piglets in an efficient way and gain him a profitable piggery enterprise. The suckling devices were made from locally available materials is very much suitable for small scale or marginal farmers, but for large scale piggery enterprises automation with better locally available material may be helpful to the farmer. Further improvement of the devices by incorporating both indigenous as well as scientifically advanced technique suitable for Indian condition and creating awareness amongst farmers through extension camps and other media will be highly beneficial to the society at large.
