Synopsis "The Adventures of Asabi & Ropo: The Native Americans"

The Adventures of Asabi & Ropo is a series of adventures for older children and the young adult age nine and above. The series shares embellished historical adventures with the immortal Orishas from Traditional Yoruba and Cuban Lucumi legends. The Native Americans is the first offering and introduces Native American culture of the Sauk and Fox peoples. The adventure begins in Havana, Cuba where we meet our two young students Asabi and Ropo. It then moves to Olokun's underwater palace and finally to 1831 Illinois where our students travel to with Orishas Oya (wind) and Shango (thunder, drums, dance). Many Orishas are introduced as well as valuable lessons. Adults looking to passively introduce the legendary Orishas and IFA culture to their children may enjoy "borrowing" this novel as well.
