Synopsis "The Angel's Clown (Volume Two)"

This is the second book of two anthologies of poems that precede the author's first publication "Songs For Susan" and follows on from "The Angel's Clown (Volume One). The Work shows a continuation of the period from adolescence through to his eventual marriage. It, not unlike volume one, charts the ups and downs of a teenager who eventually becomes a reasonably well-adjusted young man, highlighting the struggle in today's world to understand and accept his lot in life. "The Angel's Clown (Volume Two)" is the follow up to the author's previous offerings "Songs For Susan", "Only The Innocent Get Hurt In Love" and "The Angel's Clown (Volume One)". The anthology was also written during the author's growing-up period. Some of these poems were also originally set to music and were performed live by the rock and pop group "High Street" (a mild pun on the Beatles' "Abbey Road") that the author was once the lead vocalist of.
