Synopsis "The arts as influencers in a child's cognitive development"
The arts as an influence in the cognitive development and personality development of children in the extension course: "Children's Creative Workshop" of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Antioquia. Medellín-Antioquia- Colombia. 2021. This research was carried out in the two groups that attended the "Children's Creative Workshop" extension course at the Medellín headquarters. The aim of this analysis was to ascertain that the arts influence and provide tools for cognitive development and personality development in early childhood. This research consisted of observation - ethnographic participation in the field, which allowed a compilation of information and data from parents, family members and teachers in charge of the course; in addition, the fundamental contributions of three authors such as: Piaget, Freud and Erikson.
