Synopsis "The funny legend of Antony and Cleopatra"

THE FUNNY LEGEND OF ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA This is another very funny poke at history by Author- Illustrator John L D Barnett containing lots of funny fully coloured illustrations and cartoons for all family to enjoy. After the death of his mother Mildred, his father Fred left him outside the Rome Gladiator School before running off. Luckily he was found and adopted by his step parents Bert and Gladys Spartacus. His step father was the owner of the local gladiator school and when Mark Antony grew up he eventually became a gladiator and fought hard in the arena. He soon became the hero of Rome and the Ruler Julius Caesar, promoted him to tribune of his personal bodyguard. Unfortunately he fell in love with Cleopatra the Queen of Egypt, and that's when all his trouble started. This is a very funny family book not to be missed.
