Synopsis "The Last Rose"

An eternal and unforgettable love saga. Inscrutable, indefinable love has evolved to the spiritual level and gone beyond the mundane realm of union and separation. Cupid god has his divine sport with two wretched innocent creatures with no mercy at his victims. The theme revolves around two characters- Shruti and Shreyas. The story of love at first sight and at one stage they were at the verge of marrying. But the father of the girl opts for a better son-in-law and decides to marry Shruti to the groom of his choice. Shreyas has long foreseen such a corollary of his love. He is ready to reconcile to his inevitable fate but his agony is exacerbated by insistent demand of Shruti he must be present at her marriage and extend his blessings to the couple. He accepts the invitation but realizes later that it is never an easy task to be present at one's sweetheart's marriage. I have always cherished an enduring dream of writing on the theme of love and love only. The Rose is an attempt towards that direction. Love is going to the perennial and permanent theme of this book and of all my books to come in future.
