Synopsis "The Observatory of the Accusatory Criminal Procedure System"

Among the postgraduate programs that the Law School of the Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana of Medellín has, is the Master's Degree in Criminal Procedure Law and Theory of Crime, which is in charge of addressing the different issues and problems of the Colombian Accusatory Criminal System. This master's degree did not have an observatory that would make it possible to systematize and organize the information that emanates from the different acts and actors in the system. That is why the "Guillermo Duque Ruíz" Observatory was created, attached precisely to the University's Postgraduate School, in order to make it available to the academic community and the actors of the Colombian accusatory penal system: judges, prosecutors, defenders, litigating lawyers, government entities, among others.
