Synopsis "The Prehistoric Angel Diary: Book 1: From Beelzebub's Fall Thru Adam's Fall"

The Prehistoric Angel Diary as reviewed by a Mere Mortal It's amazing how much you can learn from an ordinary angel's diary! What hung on the Tree of Life? What was it like for God when He was alone, before He created angels and men? What "burns" in Hell? Why did Beelzebub, the smartest of all creatures, smart enough to know he would lose, smart enough to know he would suffer Hell, knowing what he was doing, defy God? What is the nature of our 3-person consciousness (heart, soul, and strength, Mark 12:30) that God gave us in the image of His 3-person consciousness, and how does that help explain how we find purpose, meaning, and love? The answers to these and many other "unanswerable" questions are given with so much supporting Scripture that you will have to pinch yourself to remember it is, technically, "fiction." From before Creation, when Beelzebub pulled off his spectacular coup against intelligence which created Hell, a billion years of stellar development in three days, the examination of the differences between human and animal consciousness, Beelzebub's conversations with Eve, and God's loving reasons for shutting down Eden, (Book One), through the first murder, the great civilizations of the giants and demigods, the sermons and court trials of Noah, and finally the horrors of the Flood (Book Two), this Duad reveals it all. We have our facts on the authority of an angel. A fictitious angel, but an angel nonetheless. For an angel, however, Comunicus' naiveté is often surprising. For example, Comunicus can't understand how men can complain about suffering - either their own suffering, or the "suffering in the world." Doesn't God grant the prayers (unspoken as well as spoken) of each man to live as he pleases? If a man chooses to jump off a cliff, how does God wind up the one to blame when the stubborn, foolish man finally splats against reality? This is the sort of thing that makes angels roll their eyes. Comunicus, the angelic Keeper of the Diary, witnessed the rebellion of 1/3 of the angels, the creation of the world, and the first millennium and a half of human history, before his diary was swept out of his hands by the turbulence of the Flood carving out the Grand Canyon. His restored, reconstructed Diary is enhanced by a "VerseScout" computer report which pops up when some Scripture is similar to something Comunicus wrote. A fictitious computer program, but a computer program nonetheless. VerseScout: Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe [Noah] were, so shall also the [second] coming of the Son of man be. It's amazing how similar the "days of Noah" were to the "days of Nowa." Justinius and these Scripture-laden computer reports give us a picture of time from Creation to Noah's Flood, and put into perspective its application to us today. In fact, there are so many truths in this "fiction," that it really doesn't fit existing fiction categories. It needs its own. Comunicus' reports are appropriately categorized as "True Fiction."
