Synopsis "The Railway Children: Three Kids and their Survival through Railway Coal"

Edith Nesbit's children's narrative book 'The Railway Children' was serialized in a London magazine in 1905 and then published in 1906. Best among the finest collection of books written by Nesbit, the Railway Children has a storyline of 3 little lads named Roberta, Peter, and Phyllis who were immensely enjoying their life with their parents in London. Their comfortable existence comes to an end when their father goes missing unexpectedly. After which the three with their mother moved to a small cottage in the countryside near the railroad where their survival became miserable. Being into this sick family condition, Peter persuaded himself to steal coal from trains to supplement their income until they learned not to steal even though they had so little to keep warm.
