Synopsis "The Resemantization of Speech of Adolescents 13 to 17 Years Old"
The present study aims to analyze, from a sociolinguistic approach, the process of lexical resemantization in the speech of adolescents in the La Guajira neighborhood in the municipality of Mahates (Bolivar), to determine its importance in use. In other words, it seeks to determine how sociocultural factors influence adolescents between 13 and 17 years of age in this sector. To this end, we conducted a targeted survey. The results show that the process of resemantization occurs thanks to the cultural and social influence that exists in the neighborhood, in addition to the analogies that are given from the knowledge that is had on the characteristic features of some words.
