Synopsis "The Scorpion"

In a city surrounded by walls, a tyrannical All-King keeps his subjects under control with threats of being whisked away from everything that they have ever known. Under his rule, all people must live in the City, a secluded fortress cut off from the rest of the world around it. For as long as most people can remember, no one new has entered the City and anyone who has tried to escape has mysteriously disappeared, possibly at the hands of the All-King's watchful Silent Force. That is, until rumors of a new group of rebels forming in the Mountains, accompanied by whispers of revolution, start to spread. Incensed by the rumors and fearing the fall of his reign, the All-King sends Tara, a mercenary who operates under the alias "The Scorpion," to investigate. She discovers a group of seemingly harmless refugees but soon comes to find that they all have their own secrets. And, as she takes on roles of friendship and espionage, Tara begins to realize that some of those secrets could hold the key to unlocking aspects of her own past - ones which The Scorpion herself would rather have forgotten.
