Synopsis "The Successor to Dostoevsky's Grand Inquisitor"

This was the time when a Leader who was so skilled and brilliant to rise to power perhaps one might say by accident, due to the circumstances which it happened. In 2051 there occurred in Jerusalem a terrorist outrage which violently rocked the Church, because those who caused the explosions called themselves 'Christians.' In a desperate move to limit the damage and prevent an all out world war, Pope Paul VIII had to send his most senior advisor Cardinal Archbishop Joseph Christopher to Israel. While visiting those badly injured in hospital close to where the outrage happened, the same Cardinal Archbishop turned round and facing the hordes of press and photographers suddenly claimed to be 'The Returned Lord Jesus Christ!' And so began the Church's desperate fight for survival with the worst political crisis in human history as a backdrop!
