Synopsis "The Woodbury Line: An Australian Convict Family"

The saga of a pioneer convict family from the early days of Australian colonial settlement up until the present day. Sarah Everingham, eldest daughter of Matthew James Everingham, convict of the First Fleet, and Elizabeth Rymes, convict of the Second Fleet, married ex-convict Richard Woodbury and established a pioneer family in the Hawkesbury region of New South Wales and later into the northern tablelands of NSW around Inverell, Tingha and Glen Innes. The story relates the life and times of the family as they struggled to eke out a living, suffered drought, fires, murderous attacks by escaped convicts, and two world wars. This book is the second book in a trilogy about the Everingham Dynasty in Australia - the first in the trilogy being Elizabeth Rymes - A Remarkable Life, and the third book soon to be released, Matthew James Everingham - Convict of the First Fleet.
