They say fear is "False Evidence Appearing Real." I beg to differ. I don't believe there is evidence of anything when it comes to fear. We may make up the evidence in our own mind, but I'm here to tell you that the actual definition of fear is "Faith Erases Anxious Reactions." When you have faith and/or desire, it trumps any fears you have. You will confront anything if you have 100% faith in your abilities or if your desire to do it is strong. Nothing will stop you. In The Year of Fears I share the story of how I turned my fears into faith and desire and completely turned my life around. I woke up the morning of January 1, 2015, after having just started a journey of self-discovery, and said to myself, "What can I do differently this year that will change my life?" It hit me like a ton of bricks. I said (to myself), "You are going to confront one fear every day this year." Yep, that's exactly how it happened. I had no idea what was in store, but I knew I needed to change my life in a big way. The majority of my life I had been protected and I had a lot of fears stored up. Finding 365 fears wasn't going to be a challenge at all because I was pretty sure I had more than that. The 7 biggest lessons I learned through my journey are listed in this book and I hope my lessons serve you well. I will tell you this, the best thing that came out of me facing my fears head on for one full year is that I became numb to fear. I have discovered the secret to confronting fears painlessly and with ease. My life has definitely changed since that January morning in 2015 and I'm so glad I decided to do it AND actually went through with it. I didn't let fear stop me, and I am here to help you not let your fear stop you. Fear is debilitating. Fear holds us back from attaining the success we want. Fear is a life-stealer.
