"I do not know why I scooped Ted out of the tide pool; I didn't know he was attached to his stub of a tail! Washing and brushing still didn't help the way he looked, even when I sewed two buttons on him so he would have some eyes; but wherever I went over the course of the years, Ted came along. Now he lives a quiet life, sitting in a little red wagon with two friends.
