Synopsis "Training Those Left Behind: An Extract Of The Origin And Foundation Of International Bible University"
Where did the idea come from? In 1955 I was founding the first Spanish Free Methodist church with Pastor Anselmo Estrella. It was a new field for the FreeMethodist Church denomination in the East of the United States. At that time there were very few Hispanic churches. There were six (6) churches in Manhattan, there were six (6) churches in the Bronx, and "John 3:16" was the first Spanish church. There were two (2) churches in Queens and none in Staten Island. The church that Pastor Anselmo Estrella and I were founding, began to spread rapidly. We started one church in Allentown, with a lay person who moved there. This church continued to give birth to other churches. We started one church in manhattan, and it gave birth to other churches. Today they have spread to several states of the nation. From the beginning of every church, we taught the congregation to spread out in other places when they moved to other places. Then several Christian denominations came and settled in the five (5) counties of the city of New York.
