A fun-filled frolic through the misadventures of Tuppence, a somewhat self-opinionated but irresistibly lovable golden retriever, related by cartoonist, Noel Ford, for whom dogs have provided much inspiration throughout his career. Without doubt, he says, the influence of his canine companions helped him to win the NCDL/Bonio Dog Cartoonist Of The Year award. Tuppence, the cartoon dog, bears many similarities to Tuppence, the very first golden retriever to enter the lives of Noel and his family, though he admits that he may have added more than a modicum of artistic licence to the escapades depicted in this book. If you are a dog-lover, Tuppence will strike a few chords, but all you need to enjoy this book is a sense of humour. Noel was a regular contributor to Punch magazine, and is an editorial cartoonist for Church Times. In 2016, he was elected Chairman of The Cartoonists' Club Of Great Britain, the UK's oldest and largest organisation for professional cartoonists.
