Ce livre est dédié à la mémoire de notre grand: Sidi Ali "Jmel heml" père du premier et grand père du second qui a foulé avec ces pieds tous les coins de ce terroir, qui connaît chaque arbre, chaque talweg, chaque piste, et qui a laissé ses empreintes partout parce qu'il n'a jamais quitté ce terroir jusqu'à la fin de ces jours. Tout ce qui a été décrit dans ce livre faisait partie de son monde. Notre grand qui était analphabète mais qui était en même temps sage et pertinent et que tout le monde respectait pour sa bravoure, son hospitalité, son courage et sa sobriété. Ce sont ces qualités qui ont valu à notre grand l'appellation: "Sidi Ali Jmel Elheml". Ce qui veut dire littéralement: un grand chameau capable de transporter un poids gigantesque.
