Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Theoretische (Erkenntnis, Wissenschaft, Logik, Sprache), Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wahrheit und Bedeutung werden in der philosophischen Diskussion immer wieder miteinander in Verbindung gebracht. In der Literatur werden an vielen Stellen ihre Gemeinsamkeiten und Differenzen betont. Die Art der Verbindung ist abhängig von den jeweiligen Wahrheits- und Bedeutungskonzeptionen, welche im 20. Jahrhundert verstärkt entwickelt wurden. In dieser Analyse konzentriere ich mich auf die Bedeutungstheorie des amerikanischen Philosophen Donald Davidson (1917-2003). Sie stellt eine tragende Säule in seinem Theoriegebäude dar. was macht die Bedeutung eines Wortes oder eines Satzes aus? Aus diesen und weiteren Fragen hat Davidson seine Theorie entwickelt, welche ich mit dieser Arbeit vorstellen möchte.
