Synopsis "Wednesday's Child"
Wednesday's Child is the child who is abandoned by life. This is a coming of age story about Jimmy Brewster, a homeless boy of mixed race, who had been living on the streets because his father abandoned him. When the story begins Jimmy has to make a decision about joining a local street gang. After living on the streets for months and seeing no end to his misery, he is about to give up on all the principles his mother taught him. That is until Don Rhodes, a down on his luck horse rancher steps in and forces him to make the choice to fight to live.Together the two must find a common ground and in the end conquer the demon that haunts them both. Don is a recovering alcoholic who caused the death of his wife and son years earlier. Jimmy must finally come to terms with his mother's death. This story is about their struggle to become a family against all odds.
