Martha Asunción Alonso (Madrid, 1986) es licenciada en Filología Francesa y titular de un máster en Historia del Arte. Como docente, ha residido en diferentes destinos de la Francia hexagonal y de ultramar.
Su poesía ha obtenido distinciones como el Premio Adonáis o el Premio Nacional de Poesía Joven Miguel Hernández, otorgado por el Ministerio de Cultura. Es autora de los poemarios Skinny Cap (Libros de la Herida, 2014), La soledad criolla (RIALP, 2013) o Detener la primavera (Hiperión, 2011), entre otros.Wendy, su octavo libro, es filiación y equipaje para el vuelo: relato de una voz al aire, hija y hermana de tantas voces altas de mujer.
