Synopsis "Número Cero / Numero Zero (in Spanish)"

Colonna, the protagonist, who at fifty years old receives a strange proposal from a certain Simei. He is told that he will become editor in chief of "Domani", a newspaper that will anticipate incidents and report them ahead of time based on assumptions and a lot of imagination. Colonna, who to this day has had a hopeless life as a documentary maker and, in his ex-wife's words, is a compulsive loser, accepts the challenge in exchange for a considerable amount of money, and so the adventure begins. Gathered in a comfortable office, Colonna and six other colleagues prepare Numero Zero, the much-anticipated edition of the new newspaper, rummaging through archives that conceal hidden secrets from the CIA, the Vatican, and Mussolini's life. Everything seems to be running smoothly until a corpse lying in an alley in Milan and a understated and low-key new love change Colonna's destiny forever, and the way in which his readers will see reality, or whatever is left of it.
