Miguel Núñez is a Dominican doctor, theologian, pastor, and writer born on July 5, 1958, in Santo Domingo. After graduating in Medicine in 1980 from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), he specialized in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in the United States, where he practiced for 15 years and was a clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York.
In 1997, Núñez moved back to the Dominican Republic, where he founded the International Baptist Church (IBI) in Santo Domingo, a congregation that has grown significantly under his leadership. Additionally, he is the president and founder of Integrity & Wisdom Ministries, an organization dedicated to impacting contemporary society with God's revelation through the clear and compelling exposition of His Truth.
Núñez has published several books, including Do You Believe the Bible or Live the Bible?, in which he explores the epistle of James, inviting readers to reflect on the authenticity of their faith and its practical application in daily life. He is also a member of the Council of The Gospel Coalition (TGC) and the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood (CBMW), and director of strategy for Latin America of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Currently, he lives in Santo Domingo with his wife, Dr. Catherine Scheraldi, who is also a doctor.
