Noli me tangere, «No me toques», es el título que ha recibido una escena singular del evangelio de Juan en la que Jesús interpela a María Magdalena. Este «no me toques» expresa la parábola general contenida en la vida y la misión de Jesús. Pero más allá del contexto evangelico, en el arte y la cultura, dicha fórmula viene evocando la prohibición del contacto, ya se trate de la sensualidad o la violencia. ¿Cómo interpretar esta escena y la resurrección que anuncia? ¿Cómo ha sido tratada por la pintura, y qué nos dan a ver los pintores entre esos dos cuerpos representados en el punto de separarse? Dentro de su proyecto de una «deconstrucción del cristianismo», Jean-Luc Nancy emprende una lectura donde se trata de oír y ver, «oír la escucha de nuestro propio oido» y «ver mirar a nuestro ojo aquello que lo abre y que se eclipsa en esta abertura», para repensar el sentido de lo que la religión ha llamado «resurrección»: no el inicio de otra vida, sino el «acto de desaparecer en el cuerpo mismo y como el cuerpo».
