Amor Towles (Boston, 1964) graduated from Yale University and completed postgraduate studies in English Literature at Stanford. He is the author of the novels Rules of Civility, A Gentleman in Moscow, which was successfully adapted into a TV series, and The Lincoln Highway, and the short story collection Dinner for Two, four works published in Spanish by Salamandra which have sold over six million copies and have been translated into more than thirty-five languages. After working in finance for over twenty years, Towles now writes full-time in Manhattan, where he lives with his wife and two children.
