This Autobiography is written from the perspective of Keenan Laymon and inspires those who struggle with drug addiction to turn and come to Christ. One third of this book talks about his upbringing and dissension into drugs, one third talks about the redemptive process, and the last third instills hope, peace, and a love for Christ into the reader. It is impossible for someone who struggles with drug addiction to not be changed after reading this book. Through many psychedelic drugs such as acid, shrooms, DMT, PCP, and many other unnamable substances, Keenan finds himself in a hopeless abyss without any ability to press on. Though it seems the entire plane of existence is laughing at him, he remembers and clings to the only thing that promised him sanctuary from the world as a boy, Jesus Christ. Once with Christ, the true story begins, and the reader is able to make complete sense of the smallest of details included within the earlier portions of the book.
