A punto de ser declarado culpable, el muchacho de pelo raro se arrancó la barba y el bigote que cubrían su cara y descubrió ante todos que era, en realidad, una mujer. Así tuvo que disfrazarse Agnódice, esta valiente joven ateniense, para lograr ejercer la medicina. Su tesón y su coraje supusieron una conquista para los derechos de la mujer.
