When Russian President Vladimir Putin decides to invade Ukraine as a belated Christmas present, Santa knows he has to intervene. Together with the oft-drunk Christmas elf Snoot, now a bonafide rocket scientist and stable genius, they travel to confront the Russian forces in Chernobyl, the site of the historic nuclear disaster. But all is not as it seems. Even the Russian soldiers aren't sure why they're there. The deeper Santa and Snoot dig into the nuclear wasteland, the more holiday horrors they discover--including a pernicious plot by President Putin to right old wrongs dating back to Soviet-era Russia.
