Synopsis "Brahma Jnanavali Mala of Adi Shankaracharya: Essence and Sanskrit Grammar"
Ādi Śaṅkara was born in a small village named Kalady in the coastal state of Kerala and lived in the 5th century BCE - Born 509 BCE, departed 477 BCE. In a short lifespan of 32 years he travelled the length and breadth of India twice, melding minds, infusing harmony and restoring the fabric of society. He spoke with utmost clarity and conviction. He rebuilt man's character and personality. His teachings lit the lamp of fearlessness in umpteen households. Brahmajnanavalimala is a beautiful illuminating beam that speaks volumes for his eruditeness and command over life. I remind myself again and againof the immensity of this creation, of my superb fortune and grace, andof the goodness i have been blessed with. I remember my true nature, i know i am a bundle of truth-awareness-bliss, of a form that glows, radiates and expresses the divine. I am That only, O Yes! i am this alone, unqualified.---------------Contains Original verses in Sanskrit with a Latin transliteration and a lucid English commentary.
