A un cuarto de siglo de la primera edición de mi Introducción al Derecho es por demás obvio que resulta menester llevar a cabo algunas breves reflexiones, tanto del libro en sí mismo como del contexto cambiante en el que ha tomado, alguna vez lo dije, su propio destino. En efecto, los libros que se escriben son como los hijos: tienen vida propia. Éste, en particular, sólo detiene su andar y vuelve a mí cuando requiere de actualización o ajustes, lo que sucede con cada nueva edición. Es entonces cuando nos reencontramos y retomamos un diálogo sólo nuestro, el que se da en la intimidad del autor y su obra, donde la reflexión mutua es crítica y al mismo tiempo profundamente satisfactoria.
